We love animation and games. With our powers combined, we do our best to make the best Animated Videogame Parodies that'll make you laugh (or not. That's okay).
We used these techniques in videos like Paper Zelda and Detective Pikachu Noir!
No 3D used and purely Photoshop + After Effects! (project files included).
In this tutorial we'll be creating this Neon sign, and I'm explaining how to work with textures to quickly create Ambient Occlussion to make your scenes pop and make it look 3D (and then animate it in After Effects).
Be sure to subscribe to "64 Bits Extra" while you're at it!
Lots of tutorials and behind the scene stuff being uploaded right now!
But we really wanted to share our video on how we made Cupsouls! It's a combination of a behind the scenes and a tutorial. Where we draw and animate a unique Cupsouls scene from scratch!
Project files are included for free too!
Let us know what you think!
You can download the projects files used in the tutorial for free (or donate what you want) right here! Cupsouls Project Files
Oh and I'm just gonna' plug our Patreon here, shamelessly. Check it out and feel free to support us making more videos! https://www.patreon.com/64Bits
We just uploaded an announcement video (there is animation in there but it's not fully animated, so not uploading to Newgrounds! Sorry!)
We're mixing a few things up for the channel! On Newgrounds you'll keep seeing the shorts as usual! But if you follow us on Youtube you might occasionally see cool stuff like making off's (we got one for Cupsouls Lined up actually!) and we're going to be doing some streaming! Should be fun!
This project was so much fun to do. Incredibly hard too.
Anyway, we just fell in love with the art style and always wanted to make an anime intro. (We technically already did for Alpharad's CPU tournament, but this counts more than that video).
Cris Tales is like a RPG that draws a lot of inspiration from JRPG's. In involves time travel and has a lot of fun characters. We just wondered what it'd look like as an Anime. So we figured we'd try it out!
